Hollywood au pied du terril

24-02-2015

60 years ago, Vincente Minnelli and Kirk Douglas shoot « Lust for life », a movie about Vincent Van Gogh, in Wasmes, Hornu and Saint Ghislain, in the exact same places that had been the painter’s haunts 75 years earlier.
Through testimonies and archive documents, this exhibit invites you to relive the ten-day shoot that brought Hollywood to the foot of the slagheap.

As part of this mission, we were in charge of the scenography, graphic design, technical supervision and installation.
